The in vitro test methods developed in FICAM will be validated. The purpose of test method validation is to ensure that the test method is reliable, relevant and reproducible. Test method validations are made according to the validation criteria developed by validation authorities (OECD, ECVAM and ICCVAM). FICAM also provides guidance for other laboratories in test method validation, and can act as reference laboratory for testing test methods developed by other laboratories. |
